Nfs: unbound
Once acquired by EA, Codemasters QA team were temporarily transferred to aid Criterion in the testing of the latest Need for Speed title - Unbound. The PC team I headed in previous titles were now in charge of testing the multiplayer functionality across the different platforms. We also had to use new software for this title for generating crash dumps as well as daily reports on various factors of online play.
The most interesting part of this game was learning how open world games - specifically racing titles, utilise the overall world map and break race tracks down chunk, making for vast amounts of replayability in combination with the different race types such as drag and drift racing.
